The XELERATOR kiteboards, manufactured and tested in Capetown/ Southafrica, are finally available in Tarifa and other places in Spain. Available are the epoxy surf-kiteboards EPIC and various types of twintips, the board most suitable for intermediates/ freeride THRILL, the freestyle board KICK, and the wave twintip GRIND.
Boards are available for testing in the kite school Tarifa. For all interested shops, Hotstick Tarifa is also authorized distributer of Xelerator in Spain and Portugal.

Surf-kite boards EPIC  The surf-kite boards EPIC 2007 are made for riding waves with a kite without compromise and exist in the standard sizes 5'3, 5'8 and 6'0. The boards have a classic surfboard outline and tucked surf rails that allow a positive driving bottom turn. a hard edge at the end of the board maintains speed and bite when coming off the top. The three-stage rocker with the single concave enhances the directional stability of the board and increases the turning capacity.
The boards look like normal polyester surfboards, but they are not!! the boards have a XPS(extruded polystyrene) foam core.XPS is a high density closed cell core which is stronger and provides a better flex than conventional foam blanks. Another advantage is that the core doesn't absorb water when dinged. The boards are laminated in 3 layers with UV stable epoxy resin. The heel on the boards are reinforced with multidirectional fiber to prevent the heel area from denting. All boards are equipped with the revolutionary 4 way fin system. With this system it is possible to adjust your fins forward/ backward, toe-in/ toe-out and the angular movement(splay). Besides the flexibility it is in combination with the Airex HD blocks inserts one of the strongest fin systems on the market.

Twintip Thrill  The THRILL is designed for uncomplicated kiting in all wind conditions, which makes it an all-round board for intermediate riders. The bigger sizes are also suitable for newcomers.
The THRILL is computer shaped and molded under high pressure, guaranteeing high quality of the boards. The boards are very strong and scratch resistent on top and bottom making them very durable.
The boards are designed to cruise effortlessly with fantastic upwind performance. The straighter outline and the standard constant rocker line allow the boards to plane quicker. The concave bottom makes the board very dirction stable. The straight outline and the right amount of flex guarantee good pop and serious airtime. The Thrill exists in the sizes 128x38, 128x40, 138x40 and costs complete(with supergrip fins, pads and wide footstraps) 450¤.
